Lab Meetings Schedule

Fall Semester 1998

During the current semester, lab meetings are held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:00ish. We mix presentations of our own work with discussion of recent articles of interest. All are welcome. The schdule is liable to change.

• September 2nd: discussion of "The psychological reality of intermediate structure in long-distance dependencies" by Ted Gibson and Tessa Warren (MIT), led by Gaby Hermon.
• September 9th: discussion of "Aspects of Root Infinitives" by Teun Hoekstra and Nina Hyams (UCLA), led by Meesook Kim.
• September 16th: Dave Schneider, on his dissertation project on incremental parsing
• September 23rd: Andrea Zukowski, on her project on speech production in Williams Syndrome
